Tony G – West Midlands Police Firearms Museum.

 

12 bore – top leaver – False hammer gun

 

Serial No. 3182

 

This gun forms part of the reference museums collection of the West Midlands Police forensic firearms unit. The gun is in excellent condition and is a rare example of these false or dummy hammer guns. This was obviously a high quality gun with a profusion of very fine, sharp engraving.

Unfortunately as it has gone into the possession of the police it will never be used again but we are grateful for the opportunity to photograph and record it  as part of our archive.
