It was described by the auction house as “A ‘Birmingham-Made’ Five-Shot Self-Cocking Percussion Revolver of Small Bore”. The suspicion is that someone ordered a pistol from Perrins and he bought one in and stamped his name on it. I don’t believe it has a serial number with only “Perrins & Son Worcester” on the barrels so dating it is going to be difficult.
