Rim Fire Revolver
This is a fine example of an early rim fire pistol which took a long obsolete cartridge fired by the hammer striking the rim directly rather than the centre of the cartridge case. The fired cased were extracted using a leaver and push rod similar to the mechanism used to load the ball in a cap and ball revolver.
