John (Gunsmoke) Leighton is a well know character amongst the shooting scene of Worcestershire.

John bought this gun in a very poor state of repair and has spent considerable time and money restoring it to this superb condition. While it is only black powder proof the barrels are in pretty good shape. The gun is tight and well balanced. It is wonderful that John is able to restore these pieced of our heritage that may well be lost without his dedication.
