John (Gunsmoke) Leighton is a well know character amongst the shooting scene of Worcestershire.

Also in the collection is a 16 bore, round action hammer gun by Perrin & Son, previously owned by Lynn Henenssey.  It has a left hand side opening lever with a single bite lock and Damascus barrels.  

Interesting features are the pegged fore-end, also with a head and toe metal butt plate a feature of many of the Perrins & Son guns, but not all.
