Note from Frank.....

the proof marks on my Perrins and Son pinfire is the same as that on the Perrins and Son percussion pistol. It appears to me to be Birmingham proof marks; so would that not make it English manufactured?

 

Unfortunately, my pistol has no history before appearing in a lot of parts I acquired. But I love a mystery!
