This is a lovely example of a Jones under lever double barrelled 12 bore. It just has ‘Perrins’ engraved on the side of the action. The gun is in Slovakia and forms part of a collection of very high quality English guns. His other guns are…

 You can see from the photos that the barrels are made with an unusual pattern, Erik say’s they are “second variant laminated steel damascus”. He also suggest a date of cca 1855 ( from the Swithin's Street, Worchester ), why from the year 1856 rename the firm as Perrins and Son.
