 This is a pin fire 14 bore – address 6 Mealcheapen St - so dates between 1868 and 1879, which means it was right at the end of the ‘pin fire era’ and going by the serial numbers Perrins were already producing centre fire hammer guns before this date.. Other than the two missing hammers it is in remarkably good condition considering it is around 150 years old.

I am going to try and get some hammers for it and then look at a little more restoration with the hope of getting it back to full working order. The serial number is 2568, Vaughan’s pin fire is 2018 and Richard’s is 2197.
