A PERRINS & SON 12-BORE ROTARY-UNDERLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 2935, serial number on rib only, 28 1/4in. black powder only bold damascus barrels (pre-1875 proof marks), rib engraved 'PERRIN & SON. MAKERS. 59 BROAD ST. NO. 2935', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both, Jones patent rotary-underlever, carved serpentine fences, rebounding sidelocks with short-nosed hammers with hare's-ear spurs, acanthus scroll engraving with feathered bordering and naive game scenes of hound and fowl, brushed bright finish overall, 14 1/4in. stock with engraved steel heel and toe plates, fore-end damaged
