When Les contacted me this is what he said.... "It needs some work to bring it up to working order again. The original owner dented the port side barrel, the breech does not sit tight , the hammers are out of adjustment the right side does not hit the pin the latch to hold the barrels in place needs to be built up and reshaped again probably could be re-blued"

He wasn't exaggerating!!! see the last two photos. Through another Perrins Owner in Canada Les now has the contact details of an experienced gunsmith, not too far from him, who he is going to seek advice from.

The old girl has certainly been through the wars but hopefully she will be able to be brought back to life.
