This pistol was brought to our attention when it was for sale in the USA

Description

.42 caliber, 2.125" barrels, no S/N. Brass frame, blued barrels, smooth walnut grip. Tap action, over-and-under two-barreled boxlock flint pistol with folding trigger and sliding pan locking safety. Frame with post-1813 Birmingham proofs, barrels numbered 1 and 2 to mate with the frame. Engraved brass frame with panoplies of arms and T. PERRINS on the reverse. Thomas Perrins worked at 80 Peascod Street, Windsor ca 1843-1851 and then as Thomas Perrins & Son ca 1852-1863. (Blackmore)

Condition Report

Very good. Brass with a medium golden patina and crisp engraving, barrels with a dull smoky patina and scattered discoloration and oxidation. Mechanically functional, good smooth bores with scattered oxidation and some pitting. Grip with some bumps and dings.
