"We have  had a better look at the writing on the barrel. On the top is " Perrins & Son,Makers,Worcester 3294" the  4 has been restamped we assume  when  the  rear  site was removed.
Then underneath is italic writing  (3 letters) with a small crown above  then "230 smooth  bore "
